ESL trip: Kids & Kites Day - Saturday, May 3

We've just finished another great semester of ESL, having established some great relationships with our students and enjoyed the last few months together. Usually our classes go on hiatus for summer, so we have the summer months packed with lots of fun activities and cultural excursions in Chicago, and we want you to come along! This a super opportunity to see what ESL is doing, meet some of our students, and bring your friends and families for some Chicago adventuring! Just show up and join us!

What: Kids & Kites Day

The sky above the Museum of Science and Industry fills with colorful flying creatures of all shapes and sizes for this incredible event. Bring a kite, or come build one, learn the basics and some crazy kite tricks from professional kite flyers, get your face painted and listen to storytellers.

When: Saturday, May 3 @ 9:30 AM
Where: Meet at the RC Headquarters at 2124 N. Milwaukee Ave.

Transportation: We'll either take CTA or drive together to the Museum of Science & Industry

Bring: Bring a picnic for lunch on the lawn.
